3D Technical Artist Senior

We are the Sleepagotchi team. Sleepagotchi is an app that rewards users for keeping a 3D sleep pattern with collectibles and characters. Startup CEO completing MBA from Harvard, former Product Manager at Duolingo; CTO - has a decade of experience in developing mobile applications for millions of users (Liverpool FC and Paris Saint Germain). Our investors are American investment funds and top managers from world-famous technology companies and film studios. What will need to be done?
- Optimize 3D scene rendering on mobile devices (Unity/Unreal Engine). At the same time, the quality of the picture is more priority than the number of FPS. The 3D scene in our application is rendered next to the native UI.
- Collaborate with a team of 3D artists to ensure the process of creating 3D rooms is optimized to run on mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the tech team to optimize live rendering on mobile devices.
What do we expect from a candidate?
- 5+ years of experience in the games industry;
- Experience with 2D/3D graphics packages;
- Experience with shaders.
- Experience with graphics optimization for mobile devices.
- Experience with various lighting sources.
- Experience in solving problems/methods of asset optimization,
- English at Intermediate level and willingness to work on improving it.
