Head of Logistics

We are currently looking for an experienced and energetic Head of Logistics. The main purpose of the role is to manage all cycles of logistics activities (planning, transport and warehouse logistics, distribution, etc.) including logistics team management.
Your main responsibilities will be
Supply planning and manage shipments of goods from China to the USA
Analyze and control of goods availability for sales plan achievement
Determine the relevant and optimal methods and terms of goods delivery
Monitor the changes in customs regulations, requirements and legislation, quickly respond to changes
Control of logistics expenses calculation accuracy for landed cost formation
Organize, control and count of the goods flow
Liaise, negotiate and contract with counterparties (carriers, warehouses), control of agreements and settlements
Provide effective analysis and optimization of inventory management
Analyze the company's logistics costs, develop and implement measures to optimize them
Plan, monitor and manage budgets, provide reporting on a regular basis
Improve and streamline internal operating procedures and guidelines to help the company achieve cost effectiveness and efficiency
Manage the logistics team: goal setting and control of execution, manage performance,
motivate, engage and provide feedback, etc.
Who You Are
Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics or similar
5+ years of professional experience in the supply chain or logistics, preferably in a FMCG company
Strong leadership and management experience
In-depth knowledge of relevant supply chain and logistics processes and regulatory requirements (international logistics experience preferred)
Ability to work on complex problems where analysis of situations and data requires strong analytical skills
Excellent planning and organization, project management and time management skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in English (level B1 and higher)
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and Google Docs
